John Whitehouse flintlock 10 bore sporting gun, 42 inch Damascus barrel engraved with a star motif and bearing gilt bands and maker name, the lock reconverted back to flintlock from a percussion conversion with roller frizzen and engraved with an exotic bird, chequered figured half stock with plain escutcheon, fitted with scroll grip trigger guard bearing dog finial, fitted into a period mahogany case bearing no makers name lined in green baize.
