John McCombs (1943-), Boy with tyre, signed and dated '70, oil on board, 26 x 18cm.; 10.25 x 7in. * Attended the Manchester Art School, then St. Martin's School of Art, 1962-67. McCombs was a member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters also showing at Tib Lane and Portland galleries in Manchester, Chenil and Mall Galleries and at several public galleries in the north.
