Weihrauch Rifles

Weihrauch is a market leader in the airgun world. The company traces its history back to 1899 with the production of hunting rifles, but this was not the only focus and bicycle parts amongst other things were also produced. The company really bloomed into gun making in the 1970’s when they entered into a joint venture with American distributor Beeman Precision Airguns. Beemans requested several improvements on the Weihrauch HW35 design and this development lead to the famous HM80 break barrel air rifle. The focus of the modern air gunner has firmly shifted to PCP (pre charged pneumatic) and whilst Weihrauch produce offerings to suit the modern PCP world their springers still hold an allure to shooters and are popular sellers when they appear at auction.
We handle a large number of Weihrauch air rifles in our Arms and Militaria sales and find that condition and originality are always preferred, the impressive build quality however of a Weihrauch means that they are still easy to find buyers for even if the condition is not 100% or they are starting to show signs of age.
