Biography
Born in Murano, Italy, in 1931, Alessandro Pianon's fascination with glassmaking began in his early years, immersed in the rich history and techniques of the Venetian glassmaking tradition. This early exposure ignited a passion that led him to formal training at the prestigious School of Art in Venice.
