Our specialist sales brought some extraordinary pieces to the market. Here are the standout lots that captured attention:
This year, we were proud to celebrate community and creativity through some incredible events!
In November, our sponsored gavel, beautifully hand-painted by Cheshire artist Lucy Manfredi, MA, MAFA, took centre stage in the Bidpath Foundation / Wild in Art Gavel Art Trail before going under the hammer in London at their charity auction that raised a total of £41,200 in support of The National Brain Appeal, International Children’s Palliative Care Network, and The Brain Tumour Charity.
We were also delighted to receive a Certificate of Excellence for our contribution to Nantwich in Bloom’s stunning floral displays, and it was fantastic to showcase Wilson55 at the Nantwich Show where meeting so many of you in person was truly a highlight!
To top it all off, we joined the festive spirit by taking part in the Nantwich Christmas Tree Festival in aid of St Luke’s Hospice, spreading cheer for a wonderful cause.

We are proud to introduce three talented individuals who have recently joined the Wilson55 team.
If you’ve noticed a new friendly face at the front desk, that’s Alison, our delightful new receptionist. Alongside Jo, Alison will be greeting clients with a warm welcome as they enter the saleroom.
In our administration team, we are pleased to welcome Lulu as our new Saleroom Assistant. Lulu will be supporting the team with back-office tasks and marketing initiatives, assisting our specialist James Spiridion, and training under his guidance to become a valuer herself.
Finally we are thrilled to have Ian Ierston join us as our Jewellery & Watch Specialist. Ian brings a wealth of knowledge and specialist training, offering expert guidance to clients looking to sell their pieces with us.
We are excited to have Alison, Lulu, and Ian on board and look forward to seeing their contributions and growth over the coming year!
We’re thrilled to announce that over 25 sales are already scheduled for 2026, starting with our highly anticipated Fine & Classic Sale on January 8th. This exceptional auction will feature rare highlights, including a “Mikado” polyphon and a Marie Antoinette-inspired dog kennel—true treasures for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
Later in the month, we’ll host our largest-ever Arms & Militaria Auction to be held over two days on 28th and 29th January, marking another milestone in our calendar.
We’re also excited to introduce “The John Thompson Studio Collection” no-reserve auctions. These timed sales will coincide with our quarterly Northern Art Sales, so be sure to keep an eye on our website for updates and details.
Following the success of our evening jewellery viewing, expect more exclusive one-off events throughout the year.
In addition, we’ll be hosting regular valuation days across the country, and returning to the Nantwich Show and other similar events, giving you more opportunities to meet our specialists and benefit from their knowledge. Further details coming soon!
