Featuring in our Fine Jewellery & Watches Auction on Thursday 19th March is a truly exceptional timepiece by Rolex. Set in platinum, this Oyster Perpetual Datejust wristwatch still retains its plastic protective stickers to the sides of the case, and bears a serial number denoting its manufacture around 2000. With box and international guarantee card, this timepiece is truly exceptional, finished perfectly with that wonderfully modern and clean ice blue diagonal motif dial that is only available for platinum models. The Rolex Day-Date was the first watch to indicate the day of the week spelt out in full when it was first presented in 1956. Since then, it has grown in popularity and become synonymous with luxury, accuracy and desirability.
