As well as a sensational array of Rolex wristwatches, many with boxes and paperwork, our sale contains timepieces that are rare, sought-after and eye-catching collector's timepieces. Here are a few of our favourite lots on offer:

 

Breitling

Breitling Wilson 55 Auctions

A 1940s Breitling Telemetre Chronograph watch, the black signed dial with Arabic hour markers, subsidiary dials to 12 and 6, tachymetre scale, within a stainless steel case, numbered 436540, case diameter 32mm. £400-600

 

This beautiful little watch is a superb example of Breitling's technical prowess. Dating to the 1940s, lot 126 is a chrono tachy telemetre chronograph wristwatch. The chrono tachy telemetre was launched in 1938 with that distinctive tachymetre scale, enabling the wearer to measure the speed of an object in motion using the inner scale from 400 to 60. This was an innovation in watchmaking of the time and something that Breitling as a brand have continued to this day. A real piece of watchmaking history at a reasonable estimate of £400-600, this piece is a fantastic addition to any watch enthusiasts collection. 

 

Theo Fabergé

Faberge Limited Edition Watch

Faberge Watch

A rare and limited edition Theo Fabergé St. Petersburg Collection silver watch, model 301, no. 6 out of 25, the circular mother of pearl dial with central machined silver section, Roman numeral hour markers, outer minutes dial and Fabergé egg cutout to 12, exhibition back, automatic movement numbered 075, within an engine turned silver case bearing Swiss assay marks, signed, with maker's black alligator strap, case diameter 38mm. With maker's presentation brass egg, fitted carriage case and paperwork. £2,000-3,000. 

 

One out of a limited edition run of twenty-five, this rare Theo Fabergé St. Petersburg Collection silver watch makes a wonderful addition to any collection. Oozing elegance, with exceptional craftsmanship and that iconic name, this timepiece is surely a fantastic collectors investment piece. Theo Fabergé was the grandson of Peter Carl Fabergé. He began to create ornamental objects in the 1950s, and in 1985 launched the St Petersburg Collection incorporating precious metals, crystals, enamels and precious gemstones. This silver cased watch is the one such item from this sought-after collection, and comes complete with travel case and documentation.

 

Graham

Graham Chronofighter Watch

A ladies stainless steel Graham Chronofighter 1695 Lady Moon wristwatch, no. 1021, the signed grey dial with baton and diamond hour markers, moon phase to 12, subsidiary seconds dials and date aperture to 6, quartz movement, within a stainless steel case numbered AN-2CXBS, with maker's lizard skin strap, case diameter 36mm, with maker's box and certificate of origin. £1,000-1,500.

 

Graham Watches take their name from Fleet Street horologist George Graham, one of the greatest watchmakers of the 17th century. These timepieces are instantly noticeable from with their eye-catching chronograph trigger mechanism. This feature was developed as a convenient thumb operation for aviators but nowadays feature as a beneficial design feature for the general public. These unique, desirable and iconic timepieces are produced in limited numbers, ensuring the exclusivity of this brand is maintained.

The timepiece we have in our sale is in exceptional condition with only limited wear. It is a new model, with the chronograph trigger mechanism, subsidiary dials and moon phase display that is accurate to 122 years. A fascinating piece, this is the perfect watch for those who dare to be different. 

 

Bell & Ross

A stainless steel Bell & Ross watch, BR 03-92, the circular black signed dial with Arabic and baton hour markers, date aperture to 5, automatic movement, within a stainless steel square shape case with screw detailing, case back numbered BR 03-92-S011715, with black rubber strap, case width 42mm. With maker's box, technical notes booklet and warranty card.

Bell & Ross was the result of a university project between Bruno Belamich and Carlos A. Rosillo in 1992. Bell & Ross were formed with the dedication to create timepieces that are designed to serve specific functions. The company has three established collections, to include Aviation, Marine and Vintage. The Marine Collection saw the record for water resistance in 1997, with the Hydro Challenger reaching a depth of 11,000 metres. The BR-03-92 is part of the Marine Collection, and considered to be the first square shape diving watch. This example is in fantastic condition, complete with original box and papers.
