Post-Sale Report: Christmas Fine Jewellery & Watches

We are delighted to share the results of our latest Fine Jewellery & Watches Auction, which delivered an exceptionally strong performance, with buoyant bidding across all categories and a very high sell-through rate. Attendance throughout the viewing period was superb, boosted in particular by the launch of a spectacular single-owner collection of designer pieces, which drew exceptional pre-sale interest from collectors and new bidders alike.

Competition remained fierce throughout the day, with active participation from the room, telephone bidders, and online buyers across the UK and overseas.

A Festive Evening Viewing

Ahead of the auction, we were delighted to welcome clients to a special Festive Evening Viewing, where guests enjoyed prosecco, Christmas music and seasonal nibbles while exploring the full jewellery and watch collection at their leisure. The atmosphere was warm, lively and wonderfully festive, setting the tone for what proved to be a highly successful sale. Feedback from visitors was overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to hosting further themed viewings in the future.

Gold continued to play a major role in the success of the sale, with many gold-heavy lots outperforming expectations and attracting highly competitive bidding. Buyers demonstrated strong confidence in both wearable gold pieces and collectable, investment-led items.
