We are delighted to share the results of our Fine Jewellery & Watches Auction, held on 18th September, which saw exceptional prices across the board and a strong sale rate, with the majority of lots exceeding their estimates.
With record-breaking footfall during our preview days, over 100 visitors came through the doors. Our newly redesigned jewellery viewing area received outstanding feedback. The buzz continued into the sale day, with competitive bidding from telephone bidders and online bidders across the UK and overseas.
Sale Highlights
On offer was an exquisite selection of jewellery and watches from private collections to include pieces by Boodle & Dunthorne, Cartier, Gucci, Tiffany, Rolex, Bueche-Girod, Merle & Bennett, Ben Rosenfeld and Breitling. There was also a fabulous collection of gold pocket watches to include a beautiful Victorian Chester hallmarked 22ct gold open-faced pocket watch and many others.

Gold Market Strength Reflected in Bidding
With current strong gold prices, many of our gold lots comfortably exceeded their estimates, with buyers keen to invest in both wearable and collectable pieces. A large number of items sold above their upper estimate, contributing to a highly successful overall sale total.
