Peter Wilson Auctioneers are excited to be selling an exclusive collection of pocket watches as part of our November Fine Art auction. The collection comprises 70 pocket watches and accessories amassed over a 40-year period by a passionate collector. The collection contains a vast variety of pieces from the everyday to the very rare - surely something to suit every collector’s taste!

Also featured in this collection are some fine gold examples including an 18ct gold full Hunter pocket watch by Rotherams of London, an 18ct gold minute repeater full Hunter pocket watch by Meridian Watch Company and a 9ct gold open face watch by Rolex.

Other interesting artefacts include a white metal ‘sphygmometre’, an instrument used for measuring the strength of a heartbeat, and a multi-dial day-date-month and moon phase open face pocket watch.
