We are delighted to present the Summer/Autumn Edition of our popular Modern Art & Design Sale, featuring an exceptional selection of glass, ceramics, metalware, paintings, prints, furniture and lighting.

We are delighted to present the Summer edition of the popular Fine & Classic Sale which begins with an exciting section of selected silver and novelty plate, a good range of Asian Art, British ceramics including Moorcroft, a private collection of clocks, chronometers and scientific instruments from a Cheshire farmhouse, decorative bronzes, fine watercolours and attractive oils with artists including Stanhope Alexander Forbes R.A. and William Mellor, a varied offering of Country House-style furniture and furnishings, diverse collectors' items including an important Polar Medal group, a fine French cello and much more.

The Fine Wines offered in the Sale have been stored in exceptional cellars throughout their lives to date and have been laid down as 'en primeur' and unmoved since original purchase directly through agents from the Chateaux and Domaines. Wines are mature and in excellent condition with fill levels exceptionally high throughout the Sale
Included in this Sale are a very fine selection of very good to excellent 'boxed' (OWC - Original Wooden Case) Clarets including Classed Growths and very carefully selected Cru Bourgeois wine - all OWC's have been opened and contents checked.
Also, there are some Fine Red Burgundy and Red Rhône from exceptional Growers.
There is a small range of aged and mature White Burgundy from some of the finest and renowned growers. The vendor of these wines entrusted us to open a few bottles to check and taste. These wines show exceptional character with complexity, style, great length and finesse. They show a more youthful character than their age and maturity suggest. Wines from Comte Lafon, Domaine Leflaive, Vincent Dancer, Marc Morey and Jean Noel Gagnard were outstanding but do not overlook the other growers here.
There are some Fine Vintage Ports not to be missed.
