Stephen's interest in art and history started young, sparked by childhood visits to National Trust properties. It led him to study History of Art and Architecture at the University of Warwick and at Ca' Foscari University in Venice.

He has built a strong reputation in Northern Art, the term for the 20th-century artists who painted the urban landscapes of the North West. He continues to develop the market through sales featuring both established and emerging names. Stephen brings decades of experience and close links with artists and their estates, and is always happy to advise buyers and sellers.
