Afghan sword or Khyber knife and scabbard, mid 19th century, the tapering T section single-edged blade, 56.5cm, with linear decoration and brass plates at the forte, the steel backstrap and hilt set with ribbed horn cheeks and a pommel ring, overall length 70.5cm, in its leather covered wooden scabbard with tooled brass collar and chape.
