London Armoury Company Percussion P53 .577 volunteer rifle, 39inch barrel with three groove rifling, secured by three bands, fitted a folding ladder sight stamped L.A.C., the crown VR stamped lock bearing 1863 date and L.A.Co. full stock fitted with brass furniture and stamped with London Armoury roundel, the underside of the stock fitted with a leather pouch containing an ivory T. Murcottt 68 Haymarket London rule.
