David Webb Jewellery

David Webb's mid 20th Century jewellery created a long list of celebrity clientelle, including Elizabeth Taylor, Jackie Kennedy and Gloria Vanderbilt to name a few. Forming his eponymous jewellery business in 1948, Webb quickly found success in the 1950s with his bold and eye-catching designs, inspired by ancient art and nature, in particular the animal kingdom.

His pieces employ hammered gold, colourful enamels, textures and shapes that are just as desirable today as they were when he designed them. David Webb unfortunately died at the height of his success, in 1975. Thankfully, the company still operates to this day, drawing direct inspiration from the original drawings and archives Webb left behind.
