Max Stollsteimer registered his maker's mark in 1904, a foreign agent operating in Hatton Garden, Stollsteimer worked in a similar vein to Murrle Bennett & Co., importing pieces of Art Nouveau and Jugenstil jewellery for sale to their London headquarters. These pieces are typically set in gold, with vibrant turquoise cabochons and pearl accents, marked with the firms MS in a triangle. The sinuous style of these pieces are desirable to collectors, and pieces sell well under the hammer.
