Adie & Lovekin were a Birmingham-based silversmiths, renowned for their novelty silver items. Novelty pin cushions, rattles, shakers, bookmarks and nurses buckles by this firm sell well at auction, with top hammer prices achieved for novelty pin cushions in the form of dogs, bears, cats, rabbits and lions. Based in Snape Street, Birmingham, the firm became Adie & Lovekin Ltd in 1889.
