Chris Large BA (Hons)

Firearms, Weapons & Military Medals, Musical Instruments Specialist

Chris's interest in firearms began with a Webley MkIII air rifle at the age of six, and grew through clay pigeon shooting and making replica flintlocks at school. A work placement at Peter Wilson Auctioneers, now Wilson55, became a permanent role on the strength of his knowledge of antique firearms. He is a competitive target shooter and a keen collector.

A recognised authority in his field, Chris has built Wilson55's Arms & Militaria department into one of the busier specialist sales in the country. The auctions draw consignments and buyers from the UK and abroad, with steady demand for antique and modern firearms, edged weapons and military memorabilia. His knowledge and hands-on approach mean clients and collectors get sound advice and accurate valuations.
